Tourists from Canada
Hello! I’m Yuki☆
I am still a trainee of Nara student guide.
I’m going to write about my first training guide.
I prepared much time for the day. I was very nerves but work hard to do my best.

I was hunting Canadian brothers in front of Kofukuji temple.
We went to Kohukuji-temple, Yoshiki-garden and Todaiji-temple.
It was so hot, we ate ice cream and shaved ice. We had a great time.

I think I couldn’t guide well, but they listened my explanation warmly.
I thought that want to be a good guide strongly. I’ll never forget this day.

Thank you.

Tourists from India
Hello

I am Hiroki, this is my first post.

Today I guided for tourists from India. We went to Toudaiji temple and Kasuga shrine. They didn't have plenty time to travel around Nara park, but we had great time to enjoy in both of them. And then they left Nara and went to Osaka. I really wanted to go there and enjoy together.

I was very happy to be said "Thank you" when I finished guiding. I will make efforts to give much nicer hospitality to tourists.

Thank you for reading(^--^)

 Hiroki

Tourists from Hawaii
Hello!

I am Katsuya.

This month, I guided the people who came from Hawaii and America.
The person who came from Hawaii had stayed in Japan for 5~7 years, so he could speak Japanese well! But his cousin, from America, had never come to Japan and also could not speak Japanese. So he took him to Japan this time!
At that day, I took them to a lot of places, Kofukuji temple, Nara prefecture hall, Yoshiki garden, Todaiji temple, Nigatsu-do, Kasuga grand shrine, Naramachi museum, and Harushika!
After we tasted the Japanese Sake at Harushika, he impressed me by getting 3 bottles of sake at there. I had never see anyone buy more than one!!
Anyway, this guide was really fun and informative for me!

I am really looking forward to seeing them next time :-)

Thank you for reading,
Katsuya

Students from Singapore!!

Hi,I'm Ayako.
It was such a beautiful day! There were so many school trip students especially in Todaiji-Temple...
This season, Nara is full of green ^-^

Today I guided a group of students from Singapore to Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine,Ukimido Gazebo.
They belong to Japanese Appreciation Club in an university in Singapore.
They are good at speaking Japanese, they know even casual young words such as チャラい(Charai), イケメン(ikemen) and リア充(Riaju). It was funny to hear these words from them.
Actually I guided the same club's members last year,so it was really fun to talk about mutual friends with them.

Thank you so much for sharing time with me, hope to see you again in Singapore.
Take care and have fun during this Japan trip!

last guide
Finally, this was my last guide.

I guided a man from Indonesia.
We visited Kofukuji-temple, Himuro-shrine, Todaiji-temple and Kasugataisha-shrine.

On the way to restaurant which is famous for Kakinohazushi, snowflakes began to flutter down.
That was his first time to see snow, and we were so exicted that we took lots of pictures.

After visiting Kasugataisha shrine, we went to a shoe store.
We found the very shoes he really wanted to buy.
He tried shoes on several kinds and colors happily.

I had a great time with him.
Thank you very much!

Tourists from Spain
Hi! I'm Yumi.
Today I guided four nice people from Spain.

We walked around three famous temples and a shrine while feeding deer in Nara Park.
And we enjoyed a nice view from Nigatsu-do.
After that, we had Okonomiyaki for lunch.
I'm glad to show how to cook and ate them together.

It was my last guide because of graduation from uni.
I had a great time with tourists from various countries and learned lot of things through guides.
When we guide tourists, we discuss the difference between their and Japanese cultures.
Nara Student Guide helps you understand and enjoy Nara and Japan.

We're looking forward to seeing you in Nara!

Thank you.

Second Honeymoon!
Hola! I am Ayako.
My report on the last day of February(*^^)v

I guided a couple from Spain to Kofukuji Temple, Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine.

The weather was not so good, it was dark cloudy and rainy, but Buddha looked more mysterious than ever.
They said Todaiji Temple was the best temple in all temples they have visited.

We had akashiyaki for lunch. They had it for the first time.
First they seemed to feel kind of strange for it, but finally to find it delicious.
I was glad they liked it! We talked about the difference between Japanese and Spanish culture. So interesting to know other culture.

"Japanese people are very kind. When we got trouble and asked them some, they tried telling the information to us even if they couldn't speak English, like drawing pictures."
I was really happy to hear that, and liked Japan more and more.

I really appreciate that they chose Japan as their second Honeymoon^^
Have a great trip!
Look forward to seeing you again in Spain or Japan.

From Australia
Hello, this is Akane

I guided a man who came from Australia.
He is same age with me therefore we could talk about
various things such as school & hobbies.
He has worked since last year so I asked about how work person is.
I thought it is common wherever working is difficult & hard.

At the Kohukuji temple, there are 8 guardians which include India gods.
He is familiar to India gods therefore he taught me
about their stories & I was interested in them.
He also had interest about a 1000 hands buddha.
It's simply overwhelming so I want to recommend all tourists to visit national museum of Kohukuji temple.

Thanks.

Tourists from England

ENDLESS!

Hi, I'm Ayako.
It was so cold in this few days, but it was a beautiful fine day today.
The tourists I guided were pleased with the clear weather:D

I guided the tourists from England and Australia (5 people) to Kofukuji Temple, Yoshikien Garden, Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine.
The mother in this group had a lot of snacks from China, England, Germany, Japan, and we ate them at the street and the garden and so on..everywhere!
She gave us these snacks endlessly!!
I've never experienced that I ate a banana seeing Nara city with tourists at the Nigatsudo-Hall, it must be a good memory.

They said to me, "Nara is very beautiful and peaceful."
Other tourists who I guided before also told me same things.
I can say it is one of the attractions in Nara.

I had a great time with you, thank you very much.

From USA★

Hello! I'm Miki.
I guided tourists from USA.
We went round Nara city by bicycle.

Going cycling is nice because it is very smooth and the sights changes.

We went to Kofukuji temple,Todaiji temple and Kasuga grand shrine.

On the way to these temples, suddenly it had rained.

But we enjoyed ‘‘Nara in the rain”.

I had a great time with them!
